Phoenix Rock Show
James and the Cold Gun – South Wales (Cardiff) self proclaimed loudest band, released a single in 2019 and another in 2020, then in the April of this year they released a five track EP False Start. I’m guessing the band name is a nod to Kate Bush’s track of the same name from the Kick Inside album, which in turn was inspired by book the Day of The Jackal. That’s about all I can find out about them. But They Rock!!
The new album Face In The Mirror will be out on 25th April 2025.

Deever formed in the North East by former Inglorious guitarist Billy Taylor, joining Billy on guitar is Tommy Apple, Phil Appleton on Bass and Dan Higgy Higgins on drums. The deliver an onslaught of aggressive riffs and captivating hooks in a very British style, but showing the influences of the Foo Fighters, Alter Bridge, Muse and Shinedown. There hasn’t been much activity on the socials since 2020, so not 100% sure where this band is currently at.
